In October 1997, a new facility was inaugurated at Al-Hayat
hospital, the fertility center.
It comprises all the reproductive measures needed to help
infertile couples to conceive.
In addition to controlled ovarian stimulation, the center offers
more sophisticated techniques in assisted reproduction such as
sperm wash and intra-uterine insemination (IUI), regular
in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and intra-cytoplasmic sperm
injection (ICSI).
Genetic diagnosis of the embryo and gender selection is also performed in
our unit. Moreover, amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling
are successfully accomplished in our system.
The center is open for all the physicians and midwives with
patients that have reproductive uncertainty, which need
attentive medical assistance. Highly skillful and motivated
